After our dives today I talked the guys into hanging out on the boat while I dove under some sargassum patches. If you aren’t familiar with sargassum flats, they are basically floating ecosystems. These are a pelagic metropolis housing hundreds of life forms from shrimp to large mahi. While under the epitome of the food chain I swam with Bar Jacks, Sargassum Triggers, Moon Jellyfish and even a juvenile Tripletail!
