I had a question for chris reguarding his colorblindness. I am new to diving and about to buy my mask and interested in knowing if you have found one mask to be better than another in showing color to someone who is colorblind. I would appreciate any direction or advise.

I personally don’t use a special mask to account for color loss while diving. Since the red/yellow spectrum is the first rays to be absorbed by the water, typically what I see underwater is what a non-colorblind person would see. However, you could always get a color corrective mask if you would like. The effect would in fact enhance the red colors you see underwater.
Just remember, buy your mask based on comfort and fit first!
